Roberto Moreno
Roberto Moreno, born in Caracas-Venezuela on April 25, 1980, known in the artistic field as Roberto "El Lobo" Moreno, is a multi-Latin Grammy Award nominee, musician of great versatility and extraordinary abilities as percussionist, musical producer, manager, arranger and director, always in search of new sounds, rudiments and musical styles. Roberto "El Lobo" Moreno had his first contact with music at the age of 8 years, performing studies of latin percussion in the "Hemisferio Musical" Music School. After a few years he entered in the "Pedro Nolasco Colón" Music Conservatory, where he began his musical development, especially in academic percussion, participating in concerts with different local Symphony Orchestras, and for complete his musical education he joined the "Ars Nova Music School" (2003), in search of a more integral training.
He has been music director and/or percussionist in several concerts of international artists such as: Gilberto Santa Rosa, Ruben Blades, Luis Enrique, Servando y Florentino, Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz, Jos√© Alberto "El Canario", Jos√© Mangual Junior, Jerry Rivera, Cheo Feliciano, El Arca de Noel, Gonzalo Grau y su Clave Secreta, Vilera'¥s Son, Tony Succar, among others. He has recorded in music productions for artist like: Luis Enrique, Rafael "El Pollo Brito" Latin Grammy nominated (2015-2016), Jos√© Luis Quintana "Changuito", El Mola, Cabijazz, Pedro Alonzo, Daniela Bascop√©, Proyecto A, among others, standing out as a extraordinary recording musician. Also, in other of his facets, he worked as a teacher at the National University of Arts (UNEARTE) for the Afro Caribbean Percussion Chair, and imparting his knowledge through several Percussion Master Classes with Patricio "El Chino" D√≠az and, as professor, in the Musical Education Center "Allegro". As musical producer, he has produced for a lot of artists such as: Cabijazz, Jessy "La Chica de la Salsa", Avelino, among others; as well as, he has created jingles for radio and television. He has awarded a Pepsi Music Award and for his multiple achievements and brilliant career, he is a voting member of the Latin Grammy Awards Academy and the Academy of Pepsi Music Awards. He recently released his first album "E-Wolf", a musical production of 6 songs that fuse Afro-Venezuelan percussion with different trends in electronic music (House, Dubstep, Chil Out, among others) in a unique and creative way. He currently plays with Servando y Florentino, Luis Enrique, Tony Succar, Raices Jazz Orchestra, Vilera Son, among other artists and is the Academic Director of the 305 MusicLab Music School (Miami, Florida), where he works as a drummer, percussion and piano teacher, in addition to continuing his studies in search of debugging his musical language.
