Artist

Savier Diaz is a professional musician, music teacher, recording engineer and producer. He studied in performance of Jazz Percussion and AfroCaribbean music at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music and is certified as a teacher for the Puerto Rico Department of Education. 

As a percussionist, he has played with artists such as: Kany García, Milly Quezada, Charlie Aponte, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Victor Manuelle, Tito Nievez, José Alberto “El Canario”, Humberto Ramírez, Así Sómos, Willito Otero, Quique Domenech y Sonido Tré, Fidel Morales, N’Klabe, Aymee Nuviola, Stevan Micheo, Son de Tikizia, Sammy Garcia y “El Sabor de Puerto Rico”, Johnny Rivera, Tonny Vega, Juan José Hernández y San Juan Havana, Luis “Perico” Ortíz, Camilo Azuquita, Roberto Roena “Apollo Sound”, Juan Vélez, Enchautegui, Néstor Torres, NG2, Fabiola Méndez, Manolo Rodríguez, Jerry Rivera, arpista Elisa Tórres, Carlos Garcia, Ezaquiel Colón, Michael Stuart, Ismael Miranda, La India, among others...

Since 2014, he has served as a teacher at the “Libre de Música” school in Caguas, P.R., where he offers percussion and fundamentals of music lessons.
